What stock or stocks could have done that though? None of the top 5 investors today (bnj646, nhia pao, davbern, RangerRon, and Norton) were in the top 25 investors yesterday, meaning that they all had less than $150K yesterday, so what set of stocks could have boosted them all up between $150K-$200K in one day?

 Just seems kind of strange to me.

This is crazy....the whole thing has changed....where are my guys?...gomaxgo and victhebrick?....They better not get lazy now...it is all on the line...i know i can't win but heck i am counting on them...

Good question.  I also noticed a lot of glitches in this system.  I have shown up with 25K more than I actually had in the player rankings and have scared my competitors in our office a couple of times.   This has happened more than once, so I wouldn't believe anything you see on these rankings.   Either this is all rigged or the site is full of glitches.   I won't play again if this keeps up.

I was at 8 yesterday.  All of a sudden a bunch of players way below me jumped into the top 5.  I think it may be a system mistake(reverse split or something).

If it is a system mistake, how long does it take them to correct it?

I've been watching for the last couple weeks, since I thought I had a chance of winning one of the investor prizes, and the same thing happened this monday (April 21st). Maybe people showed up out of nowhere (not in the top 25 of the previous day), so that they must have had less than $145K. Then on monday, they showed up with gains of at least $50K to $150K in one day, and none of those people have disappeared yet. (opp36467, bryant04, Seraphim, tcushing, winkydinkh, ...)

 I'm not saying it's not possible to get those kind of gains in a day, but I just don't see any stocks that have jumped that much on those days.

This has all of the signs of a stock split or an erroneous feed issue.  WSS is usually pretty good about resolving this fairly quickly.  Interesting also...I noticed that over the past several days, there is suddenly a handful of new leaders on the permanent portfolio board who have portfolios in the millions, waaay ahead of dojimon.  This suggests there has been an issue going on which may not have been resolved yet.  Also, quite a few new folks jumped into the top 25 for the current contest out of nowhere at the same time, so perhaps there's some connection.

karand, I'm hanging in there in fourth (at least before the leaderboard snafu), but time's growing short.  Tough competitors up above!  Thanks for the encouragement!

Yeah what's up with that?  All of a sudden like 20 different people's portfolio's exploded right before the end of the contest?  Looks a little fishy to me.

 Did anyone else notice when they set up a limit to sell a stock that it didn't sell, even though the stock clearly shows it reached that price?   That really irritates me.   I lost a few pennies from that happening.  I coulda been a contender.

 Well, I sure hope they fix the problem before the end of the contest. I am not even near the top ten and my blood pressure is up just thinking about the hard work, aszky, gomaxgo and vic put into the contest to get where they did. I will keep my fingers crossed!!!

It has been a fun contest.  I saw a note from WSS on the contest board that they will fix the error tonite.  It was due to a stock split.
