I think I was just transported back to the 1930's I was up 1k today now I am down $58k

I know I am not the greatest player, but I went from $101,000 to -$58,000!!

Now I'm down to -$51,000, but I noticed I am not in last place.  Whew!!

what the hell , im down -50,000 and showing a loss of 150,000 , also , my open positions are all gone.....lol i was thinking yesterday must have been black sunday or something, what is this; stock market crash simulator ?

Don't feel bad!! The "my open positions" Page stuck and I couldn't do any transactions.

I am now DOWN $71,000 and I can't even get into it to see what happened.

You get 5 Million Dollars instead of 100k

I saw that! You must be short a ton and all stocks are gone from portfolios so all your cash is counted :> and you are in 1st place!

but you can currency trade on CNBC ... didn't know you couldn't short

Beat the Street only takes a few minutes Sunday night to make 5 picks and maybe Tuesday night to swap one out ... for a chance to win $5000 for the week!

I think I will be sticking with WSS.  They always have problems when they introduce new formats, but it always ends up working quickly and WSS is pretty good about correcting any problems you had during that time.  I understand the frustration, but I still think this the best game around.
