AGP 24.46, -2.24, -8.4%) swung to a second-quarter loss of $162.5 million, or $3.07 a share, compared with profit of $32.8 million, or 61 cents a share, a year earlier. Excluding a charge relating to a lawsuit settlement, the health-care services company earned $36.7 million, or 68 cents a share. Revenue came in at $1.13 billion, up from $1 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet Research were looking for profit of 45 cents a share on revenue of $1.08 billion. Amerigroup said it expects to report full-year earnings, excluding the charge, of $2.30 to $2.40 a share. Wall Street had forecast $2.29 a share.
