Are you saying that it does give a competive advantage to know the real time values, because any difference is corrected to reflect the real time value at the time the purchase/sale? If so, that very good.

I think it only makes sense if you have the time to actually watch your portfolio constantly & be a "day trader".

Not easy being a day trader with this game unless you purchase the real time option. I was given advice to look at yahoo for real time quotes. worked a little.

Besides, this is a fantasy game & why would you pay for a monthly fee on a service that really doesn't improve your chances of winning! Everyone is here to learn and have fun doing it.

You are right! You have to be at your computer all day watching this stuff for real time to be worth it. I've learned to check in the AM, leave it alone and check back around 3 to see if I need to sell anything. It goes up and down so much it drives me crazy. I do better when I dont watch it.
